Which country is ‘Namak Haram’? Google will tell you the Answer

LAHORE: Besides having earned a bad name on diplomatic front due to its underhand lobbying and state-sponsored terrorism across the borders, India has also been recognized as the ‘Namak Haram country’ (treacherous country) by Google.

Believe it or not, like majority of Pakistanis, the US-based tech giant considers India as a ‘Namak Haram country’. The reason is very simple yet interesting: a 1973 Hindi drama film ‘Namak Haraam’ starring Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and Simi Garewal.
If you are still curious, type ‘Namak Haram Country’ in Google search bar and get amused.

How to enable USB Debugging mode on Android?

The ways to enable USB Debugging mode, which is accounted for the key step in Android rooting process, vary from one Android version to another. USB Debugging is required by adb, which is used for rooting, backing up, installing a custom ROM, tacking screenshots from computer and more

1. Android 2.0-2.3.x

Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging.

2. Android 3.0- 4.1.x

Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.

3. Android 4.2.x and higher.

In Android 4.2 and higher versions, the Developer Options menu and USB Debugging option have been hidden. In former 4.X versions of Android, USB Debugging option is under Developer Options menu.

First, you need to enable "Developer Options Menu".

1. Click Menu button to enter into App drawer.
2. Go to "Settings".
3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap "About phone" or "About tablet",
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the "About phone" and locate the "Build Number" field.
5. Tap the Build number field seven times to enable Developer Options. Tap a few times and you'll see a countdown that reads "You are now 3 steps away from being a developer."
6. When you are done, you'll see the message "You are now a developer!".
7. Tap the Back button and you̢۪ll see the Developer options menu under System on your Settings screen.
Now, you can enable USB Debugging mode.
8. Go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging. Tap the USB Debugging checkbox.

4. Android 5.0 Lollipop

To enable USB Debugging on Android 5.0 Lollipop is the same as Android 4.2.x.
Settings > About Phone > Build number > Tap it 7 times to become developer;
Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
NOTE: USB Debugging should only be enabled when you need it. Leaving it enabled all the time is kind of a security risk for that this mode grants you high-level access to your device. Say if you connect your Android phone to a USB charging port in a public location, the port could use the USB access to your phone to access data on your phone or install malware. This could happen when and only when USB debugging mode is enabled.

How to ROOT Almost Any Android Device

A lot of people wonder if rooting will do more harm than good to your Android device.

If done correctly, rooting can unleash the true power of your device. You will be able to
clock your device higher and make it perform to its full potential, or even prolong battery
life. Indeed, there are countless possibilities that are revealed once a device is rooted.

Of course, for the average user, rooting sounds like -- and can be -- a scary process.

After all, "rooting" around in your smartphone's core software might seem like a recipe
for disaster. One wrong move and you could end up with bricked handset.

Thankfully, there's a new Windows utility that makes rooting a one-click affair: Kingo

Android Root. It's free, and based on my initial tests with a Sony Xperia SP, it works
 like a charm.

Here's how to get started.

Preparations :

1. Download Kingo ROOT and install it on your computer.
Link: Kingo Android ROOT (For PC)
2. Make sure your device is powered ON.
3. At least 50% battery level.
4. USB Cable (the original one recommended).
5. Enable USB Debugging on your device.

1. First, double-click the desktop icon to launch Kingo ROOT.

After downloading and installing, double-click the desktop icon of Kingo ROOT to

launch the software.

2. Enable USB debugging mode on your Device.

If you have already done this, skip this step and move on. If not, please follow the

instructions as shown on the software interface according to your Android version.

3. Next, connect your Android Device to computer via USB cable.

You may need to wait a little longer if this is the first time you connect your device

to computer. Driver software installation should be done automatically. But sometimes,
it often goes wrong. Do not be frustrated and try several times. If it still fails, manually
download and install the correspond driver on the official website of your Device manufacturer

4. Note: Read the notifications carefully before proceeding.

Rooting has its advantages for sure, however, it may also lead to certain consequences.

So before jumping into this, please be sure you know what you are doing.

5. Click ROOT to start the process when you are ready.

It will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete the process. Once you started, do not move, touch,

unplug USB cable, or perform any operation on your device anyhow!
6. ROOT Succeeded! Click Finish and wait for reboot.

Your device is now successfully rooted. And you need to click Finish to reboot it in order

to make it more stable. Still, do not touch, move or unplug it until it reboots. Check your
device and find out SuperSU icon, which is the mark of a successful ROOT.
